Exciting news for the Holyoke community! MassHire Holyoke (MHH) is relocating to the Steam Building, located at 200-208 Race Street.
Once an old mill building, artfully remodeled by folks also connected to Gateway City Arts, STEAM offers a warm and welcoming space for job seekers and employers to connect and thrive. Easy to get to, STEAM is in the heart of the canal district, near the Flats & South Holyoke, with community partners and local businesses nearby.
The move to Steam marks a new chapter in MassHire Holyoke’s history, and we are thrilled to announce that both the Youth and Businesses centers will be open at STEAM by the beginning of June, with Re-entry & Recovery services opening soon after.
To help complete our move, we have applied for ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funding from the City because capital expenses are not covered by any of our funding sources, and additional resources are needed to relocate the remainder of our career counseling, youth, business, reentry & recovery services, and other services to the Steam building.
Please email Alicia M. Zoeller: email@example.com or call 413-322-5610 to let them know you support ARPA funds for MassHire Holyoke. Comments may also be submitted in writing by first class mail to: City Hall Annex, Room 400 20 Korean Veterans Plaza, Holyoke, MA 01040. All comments must be received by Monday June 5, 2023 by 12:00p.m.
