Before you can open an unemployment claim, you must either already have or create a MyMassGov account.

After you have an active MyMassGov account, you then need to go the Unemployment Services for Workers website and open a claim by following the instructions in the video below.   If you do not have the computer skills needed to open your unemployment claim on the website, you must call the Department of Unemployment Assistance directly at 877-626-6800.
