Staff Assistant – Pharmaceutical & Administrative Sciences

The Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences seeks highly motivated applicants to provide administrative support for the Department. Reporting to the Department Chair, this position will assist in budgeting, ordering, planning, minute-taking and other duties relevant to the Department, and its faculty, students and programs. Additional responsibilities for the position include assisting the Department Chair to coordinate departmental operations and program directors and coordinators for program operations.

Requirements for the position include good written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the abilities to maintain confidentiality, use personal initiative and to work independently. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, and relevant administrative experience or office management experience are required. Bachelor’s degree and experience in a higher education setting are preferred.
