Job Description:
The Special Projects Producer oversees multiple projects, including the planning of our in-depth stories that focus on Getting Answers for the Western Massachusetts community. The position also oversees sales integration segments, award nominations, special programs, and other tasks as assigned by the News Director.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
– Oversees the planning of weekly in-depth stories: this includes brainstorming ideas with reporters, keeping calendar up to date, and making sure that deadlines are met
– Conduct interviews and potentially write stories that will be voiced by on-air talent

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field is preferred
