REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1.High school diploma or equivalent.
2.Three (3) to Five (5) years of secretarial experience in an administrative office, preferably in a school setting.
3.Computer literate with specific experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
4.Proficient proof-reading and organizational skills with flexible personality and excellent telephone demeanor. Must have exceptional attention to detail.
5.Sensitivity to confidential documents and privacy related issues.
6.Demonstrated ability to professionally interact with students, parents, teachers and school administrators and staff.
7.Demonstrated ability to professionally interact with related business, industry, and public agency personnel
8.Alternatives to the above as the Board of Directors may find appropriate and acceptable.

Job Requirements
The high school learning environment may be noisy with students simultaneously engaged in diverse activities. The expectation is that instructors will meet the needs of students with a range of abilities, as well as the requirements identified in students? IEPs, by effectively scaffolding and differentiating instruction so all students can attain competency. The employee is expected to integrate current best teaching practices, delineated during professional development, into daily instruction to maximize student learning. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, and demonstrated proficiency of his/her students.

Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, IEPs, memos, and e-mails.
Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and coherent letters, e-mails, assessment reports, progress reports, and other professional correspondence.
Demonstrated ability to make presentations to others that persuade or provide information and instruction.
Demonstrated ability to interact with students, parents, and colleagues respectfully in ways that embody tact, diplomacy and flexibility.
Demonstrated ability to carry out and instruct mathematical calculations required by the Chapter 74 guidelines
Demonstrated ability to use and explain the mathematical calculations used to determine grades
Demonstrated ability to navigate and utilize programs included in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel Publisher, etc.) and the Google Suite (e-mail, Google Docs, calendar, drive, sheets, forms, etc.).
Demonstrate willingness and ability to master the use of in-house grading, reporting, and educator evaluation software

At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
High School/Trade School degree preferred
Citizenship, residency or work visa required
