Who are you?

The Regional Director is responsible for overall delivery and integration of behavior analytic services within assigned programs. This includes supervising and coaching direct reports to support the development and implementation of universal and individual programming within an ABA framework. The Regional Director is familiar with autism spectrum, neurodevelopmental disorders, mental health disorders, and/or brain injury, including associated features, such as significant challenging behaviors. This is carried out with respect and dignity and in accordance with May Institute policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinates referrals and intakes for programs within assigned region, to ensure appropriate census and ratios in assigned program through review of referral/intake and identification of potential individuals for assessment and program enrollment.
Makes recommendations to leadership for admission.
Ensure effective execution of operational and budgetary objectives; understand income statements and manage budget to maximize utilization of authorized hours and staff targets.
Review operations and make recommendations for efficiency/ improvement.
Collaborates with Leadership and support departments to support hiring, billing and contracting processes within assigned region.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree is required; PhD is preferred and will be given priority.
Eligibility for licensure as psychologist is preferred.
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) (or otherwise qualified clinician) is required.
At least 3-5 years of experience providing applied behavior analytic services to children, adolescents, and/or adults with autism, brain injury and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities.
At least 3 years’ experience managing programs and budgets, supervision and staff training.
