Recruiter

We are seeking a Foster Care Recruiter to develop and administer an effective recruitment strategy for our Foster Care Program to include coordination of recruitment events, while developing community awareness of our services through effective marketing and outreach. The Foster Care Recruiter will collaborate with the Family Resource Worker in training and support for Foster Parents to ensure preparedness for licensure. Essential duties include but are not limited to: Developing a recruitment strategy to ensure our Foster Parents can provide a structured family environment for youth; Screen, interview and select potential foster parents to become licensed caregivers; and assist with coordination of training to potential foster parents to ensure licensure preparedness.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge and demonstrated experience in Foster Care programs and recruitment of Foster Parents, and some experience in marketing and digital design programs. This position requires a bachelor?s degree in social work or a related field with 3-5 years progressive experience; good organizational skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal); and the ability to work a flexible schedule to include occasional evenings and weekends.
