Description

Operations Manager

This is an exciting and fulfilling role within the Vice President for Finance and Administration to create and add value throughout the institution! The Operations Manager provides confidential counsel and support to the Vice President for Finance and Administration and acts as a liaison between Finance and Administration division units and other constituents, both internal and external. Responsible for reviewing and managing all contracts, informing and managing the University’s risk management/insurance programs, including the lead role in institutional enterprise risk management specifically chairing the University-wide Risk Committee. Primary support for operational functions within the Finance and Administration division, including daily responsibilities such as project management, divisional goals and objectives monitoring and tracking, and oversight of auxiliary services functions (food service and bookstore operations). Oversees compliance with annual reporting requirements related to insurance, bond covenants, and other reports related to management of institutional risk and potential liabilities.

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Business Management preferred.
