Office Assistant
JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Assistant will perform various office, human resources and administrative finance functions including, but not limited to front desk reception; personnel and finance file management; answering telephones, ordering office supplies, and greeting guests. The Office Assistant will provide support to the human resources and finance department under the direction and supervision of the Director of Human Resources. Support the Director of Human Resources and the CFO with requests and projects. Prepare packets for New Employee Orientations. Schedule employment interviews with managers and candidates, as needed. All other duties as required / assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma/equivalent. (Associates degree in related field preferred)
2. One to three years? experience in office administration. Experience in either human resources or finance is preferred
3. Thorough knowledge of computer operations and programs including MS word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
5. Possess good organizational and clerical skills and can manage multiple tasks concurrently.
6. Must be flexible and able to shift from task to task.
7. Should have a thorough understanding and ability to work with confidential material responsibly.
8. Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor; communicate respectfully with all staff and external stakeholders.
9. Possess accuracy of work and attention to detail
10. Demonstrate good customer service skills
11. Must be able to work collaboratively in a diverse environment
