Description

Lead a clinical team providing treatment and outreach services to a forensic population in Western Massachusetts!

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Lead Clinician in the PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) program at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the PACT program with the following:

Providing community-based services within the PACT Forensic model of care which includes therapy, medication administration, assistance with ADL’s, and clinical care coordination.
Assisting and monitoring activities of daily living to encourage independence, competency, and decision-making.
Initiating, supporting, and ensuring quality of life through empowerment, safety awareness and respect and dignity.
Providing comprehensive risk/crisis evaluations and taking appropriate actions to keep individuals and others safe.
Leading in providing assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for individuals with substance abuse/dependence.
Facilitating dual recovery groups and connecting individuals to resources including AA, NA, Detox, and methadone/suboxone treatment.
Providing frequent outreach services to individuals served in community settings such as client homes and hospitals.
Providing safe and timely transportation in own vehicle as needed for medical appointments, recreational activities, shopping, errands, etc.
Acting as liaison and consulting with community agencies and families to maintain coordination in the treatment process, as appropriate.
Providing direct supervision to PACT staff.
Completing initial assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, financial management plans, and progress notes in a timely manner to support Treatment Plan goals.
Serving as primary case manager for assigned caseload and maintaining direct service productivity as established by the program.

What are we looking for in the Lead Clinician?

Master’s Degree in related field (required).
At least six months experience in human services (preferred).
Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration of individuals served.
Willingness and ability to treat challenging and diverse client populations, including a forensic population.
Working knowledge of community resources and how to help clients access them.
Cultural competence in supporting clients with a variety of different cultural backgrounds.
Competence in motivational interviewing to utilize when working with ambivalence (preferred).
Willingness to work with individuals who are forensically involved within the Sequential Intercept model.
Valid driver’s license and a reliable car available for working hours to transport individuals served (required).
Completion & maintenance of MAP certification within introductory period of employment.
Flexibility to work weekends, second shifts, and holidays, as needed.

Schedule Days: Weekdays
Schedule (Days/Time): M-F 8am-4pm & on-call rotation (1 of 5 weeks)
# of Hours Per Week: 40
Sign On Bonus Terms: $2000 for new employees
