Description

MHA is hiring immediately for an experienced Supervisor. The Floating Supervisor will support various programs in the absence of a permeant supervisor. This is a permeant position that floats to vacant positions when needed. This unique opportunity allows a qualified candidate to showcase their skills by working with a variety of people in a variety of settings, building their skills as they do so. This role is meant to keep the continuity of care in tact during supervisory turn over. A successful candidate will be ready to be placed at a site that will be without a supervisor to cover until a new one is hired. Duties would include:

Completing the staffing schedule
Completing and managing administrative tasks related to the program
Ensuring appointments are attended follow up recommendations are implemented
Overseeing medications in the home, with support of the team on hand (MAP trained staff, depending on site)
Communicating with staff teams, families/guardians, Day programs and relevant parties on an interim basis
Facilitate team meetings, supervision, and coaching for staff teams
Communicate effectively and efficiently with staff, colleagues, and supervisors
Other responsibilities related to the interim operation of the program

This unique role is designed for an experienced supervisor who does well with change. Training will be provided on the unique needs of each home. Expectations will be based on those for a covering supervisor and not a permeant one.

Requirements:

Must be MAP certified
Must have at least 1 year supervisory experience
Have demonstrated understanding of diverse population
Willingness to learn and adapt to new environments
