Position Overview

As a District Manager – you will be responsible for the daily supervision of all merchandisers and salespersons assigned to your territory – ensuring customer needs are met. This role woks in correspondence with our Regional Managers.

Collect & verify Merchandiser’s weekly schedules

Visit stores to ensure sales representative is completing all of their responsibilities

Approve Salespeople and Merchandiser vacation requests

Formally evaluate merchandiser’s annually

Hiring/Firing of Merchandiser’s & Salespeople

Answer directly to the Regional Manager

Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget.

Responsible for all facets of business in district.

Accurately maintain sales route schedules.

Conduct weekly sales meeting with field team.

Disseminate new information, i.e., New Items, Distros, ETC.

Schedule coverage for sales routes, (i.e. vacation, sick days, etc) store resets & remodels. Collect store information from: i.e. store survey forms, etc.

Resolve store issues that cannot be resolved by salesperson, Evaluate monthly sales figures & address any issues.

Special Skills : Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
